Navigating New Beginnings

New beginnings often bring a mix of excitement and anxiety. Recently, I've found myself starting over, and in the process, I’ve realized how much of my identity was tied to certain areas of my life. While we may know this on some level, it often takes real-life experiences to truly understand what we value. And that’s perfectly okay—self-awareness is the first step in consciously discovering who you really are. You can't uncover your true desires without first recognizing your strengths, weaknesses, and core traits.

For anyone in a season of change, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on what you truly want and, more importantly, why you want it. Without a clear "why," we can easily drift in the wrong direction, unsure of where we’re headed. While plans may not always unfold perfectly, they serve as invaluable guides toward the goals we hope to achieve.

Three tips for navigating new beginnings:

  1. Embrace self-awareness:

Reflect on your values, strengths, and weaknesses—it’s the key to understanding what you truly desire.

  2. Define your "why":

Attach meaning to your goals. A strong sense of purpose will keep you grounded and focused.

  3. Be flexible with plans:

Even if things don't go as expected, use your plans as a compass to guide you in the right direction.
