Summer is coming

Have you ever looked at a tree and thought about how it grows and what it goes through? Trees are just like us; we need nurturing and care to grow and bear fruits. Just as trees have different seasons, we also experience different stages in our lives. Sometimes we're shining bright, and other times we're not.

During the fall and winter, trees shed their leaves and appear to be dying. But, in reality, they're shedding the old and rejuvenating from the inside out. There's a process happening that we don't see with the naked eye. Similarly, we experience times in our lives when we're being groomed for growth. It may not be easy, but it's necessary.

As someone who has gone through tough times, I know that the process of shedding can be painful, but the knowledge of what follows always brings hope and an expectancy of flourishing. Just like trees, we too can experience a spring and a summer in which we bear fruits.

The key here is to be patient and intentional about the work we're doing during the nurturing process. It may not be fun, but it often leads to a bouquet of blessings at the end.

So friends, if you're going through a tough season, know that summer is coming. It's just around the corner! Keep nurturing yourself and trust the process, and soon enough, you'll be flourishing and bearing beautiful fruits. Remember, you're like a tree, and with care and patience, you can grow and flourish.
